June 2010

I cannot believe how quickly this year had flown by. But here we are in the month of June! It has been such an incredible year. Thank you all for allowing Mrs. Brown and me the opportunity to teach your children.

May has been a month filled with wonderful adventures. The field trip to Whole Foods was fun;  the children learned about all the different types of meat and fruit they carry. And the Fire Station field trip was a blast, as always, the children learned all about fire safety and had the chance to sit in a real fire truck.

We have a few more exciting things to help wrap up the school year.  The Sacramento Zoo bring some Zoo animals to visit on Wednesday June 2nd and Thursday June 3rd. Friday June 4th will be the annual End-of-School Picnic, for more details talk to Mrs. Foot.  Finally, Wednesday June 9th will be MUD DAY. The children should come to school in or with their swimming suits and shoes they can get wet.  They will also need a change of clothes, for when they are done splashing around!

Thank you all again for a wonderful school year, I hope your summer is full of amazing adventures, laughter, and love.  We look forward to seeing our returning students in the fall, and if you are not returning we hope you will stop in and see us.  May God bless you and all those you love!

                                    In Christ’s Love,

                                             Ms. Kays
