Listed below are school holidays / closed days: November 11 Veterans Day November 21 - 25 Thanksgiving Recess Dec. 19 – Jan. 2 Christmas Recess January 16 Martin Luther King Day February 20 - 24 February Recess April 2 - 6 Spring Recess April 20 Staff in-service work day May 28 Memorial Day Other important scheduled dates to plan ahead for: September 15 – 7PM Back to School Night September 24 - 1 to 5 p.m. 25th Anniversary Reunion Celebration September 29 – 6PM Ice Cream Social December 8 – 6PM Christmas Pageant April 19 - 6PM Spring Sing Fundraiser May 10 and 11 – 11:30AM Mother’s Day Teas June 1 – 6PM End of Year Picnic Special Occasions A birthday or holiday is a special time in your child’s life. If you would like to send a special snack time treat, please let us know in advance. Your child’s teacher will be able to suggest some fun, nutritious ideas! Class Groupings In the T/TH and MWF programs, children are assigned classrooms based on the following criteria: 1. Age 2. Gender and 3. Teacher discretion. While the staff at CPP does understand that children and parents develop preferences based on past experience, we also understand that it is our responsibility to construct the population of each classroom so as to achieve the optimum learning experience for all of the children. Children are not assigned to classrooms based upon parental requests.
