June 2010 Dear Parents,
Where has the year flown?! It was just yesterday we were welcoming new faces, learning classroom and play yards rules, wearing our Halloween costumes, sharing Thanksgiving feasts and the wonder of baby Jesus’ birth during Christmas Pageant rehearsals, searching out Easter eggs, celebrating birthdays and new births, singing about our upcoming trip to the zoo, and each and every day laughing and sharing the wonder of new discovery, new and mastered skills, and making friendships that will carry on for years. No one need ever wonder why I decided that preschool was where I always wanted to be!
The staff and I realize that a number of our families, who began with us many years ago with their eldest children, will now be leaving with their youngest child - this really is goodbye to long-time friends who have given so much to us in notes of encouragement, hugs of understanding, and smiles of joy. We will miss you all and wish you, and those who share your lives, abundant blessings. (You do know we absolutely love to have visits to marvel over how much our friends are growing and hear all about their new adventures, don’t you !?)
For those families returning next fall we wish a magical summer filled with new experiences, laughter, and love. We look forward to planning the 2010-11 school year and promise to be just as excited as your children come September! Just a note, there are openings still available in the 2-day and 3-day programs for next fall – please pass the word!
We share a very special time in your child's life and, for the trust and faith you have instilled in us, we are forever grateful.
